Our Superintendent
Dan Faulkner is the superintendent of Hooker Public Schools. He is married to Melissa Faulkner a music teacher also with Hooker Public Schools. They have five children. Two are married, and have completed college, another has completed college, one is currently attending college and one, Drew, is attending Hooker High School. Mr. Faulkner attends the First Baptist Church in Hooker where he is a member of the choir and plays the guitar. Mr. Faulkner graduated from Texhoma High School. He attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. Additionally, Mr. Faulkner has a Master’s Degree in Music which he received at Fort Hays University. Mr. Faulkner believes that kids come first and are very important; even more important than the administration. Mr. Faulkner has many goals for Hooker Public Schools some of which include building pride, upgrading the facilities, and completing repairs and necessary improvements. Through continued communication between Mr. Faulkner and his Principals, Mr. Faulkner hopes to achieve all his goals while providing and outstanding educational experience for the students.
