BOOK FAIR
The Spring Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon! The theme is Book Fair Diner: All You Can Read. It will be held March 1st through March 5th in the Elementary Gym from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Family Night will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, Tuesday, March 2nd.
We are participating in the One for Books program. Students and teachers donate $1.00 or loose change which goes directly to purchasing more books for our school. Scholastic will match monetary donations raised with a donation of up to one million books to three non-profit organizations dedicated to helping kids and families in need. They include Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc., National Center for Family Literacy and the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.

ACCELERATED READER
There are 267 students participating in the AR program. As of February 15th, the students have earned a total of 10,558.9 points with an average of 83.6% correct answers. Our goal is for each student to keep an average of 80% or above on their reading quizzes.
          The students will spend their AR points on Wednesday, March 10th and Thursday, March 11th. The students must have achieved their 80% average in order to spend their points.
