Mrs. Kraft states that Hooker is her hometown. She has been married to Rick Kraft for 22 years. They have three children-Chelsey who is a Junoir at the University of Oklahoma; Luke who is a Freshman at Southwestern Oklahoma State University; and Sarah who is a 7th grader at Hooker. They also have a dog, Snicker and a cat, Sunkist. They are members of the Morning Star United Methodist Church at Hough, OK, where she is the church secretary. Her husband and her are also the custodians. She is a certified lay speaker and enjoys speaking to ladies' groups and filling the pulpits on Sunday mornings at other churches when needed. She has had the opportunity to speak at Goodwell, Texhoma, Tyrone, Hooker, and Straight, as well as ladies' retreats. Her hobbies include writing, devotions, poems and songs, playing paino and keyboard, journaling, photography, drawing and working with watercolors and pen and ink, and cross stitching. Currently she is working towards certification in Biblical Counseling through Light University. Her family loves watching sports and cheering for the OU Sooners, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Thunder, to name a few.
Mrs. Kraft would like to share that she never dreamed six years ago she would be teaching, especially at the junior and senior high level, but she loves her job and enjoys seeing the students everyday. Her greatest joy is seeing a child discover a gift or talent and finding a place to belong and express himself through photography, design and writing through the yearbook. She also appreciates the friendships she has made with her co-workers.
